About Cassie
Cassandra (Cassie) Porter is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and Certified Specialist in Orthopedics with clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics and skilled nursing. She fell in love with functional fitness and movement medicine as the result of a low back injury, which spurred into action her pursuit of her physical therapy education.
She graduated Summa Cum Laude, from Northern Virginia Community College with an Associates of Applied Science Degree, with a major in Physical Therapist Assistant. She earned her Bachelors of Business Administration with a major in Business Management and minor in Marketing from the University of Oklahoma in 2005.
When she’s not working, Cassie is spending time with her husband and four kids. Cassie enjoys working out on her Peloton bike, yoga, weightlifting, baking, vacationing, and spending time with family and friends. She also focuses on continuing education courses and current evidence-based practice guidelines and interventions to better serve the needs of our diverse patient population.
